Spin & Wind (fan motor)
Build and control a fan using motors and sensors. Experiment with blade angle and temperature‑based switching. Covers feedback, energy conversion, and simple control.
Recommended for ages 6-8
About This Kit
Assemble a DC‑motor fan, vary blade geometry, and add temperature sensing for automatic control. Record airflow/speed vs angle and set on/off thresholds (or PWM). Covers energy conversion, feedback systems, thresholds, and (qualitative) power/torque trade‑offs. Introduces design–test–iterate engineering practice.
Learning Outcome
Learner understands electricity → motion → airflow
What's Inside
DC motor, propeller, AA holder, switch
